But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

1 Peter 3:18

October Greetings Friends,

We pray this email finds you well and growing in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Good News Club season started in September and is off to a strong start for the 2024-25 school year. We’re excited to see new clubs at Fuller Elementary in Aubrey, and Bennet Elementary in McKinney. What a blessing to see all of our clubs evangelizing and discipling school children again so that the children grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord.

We thank God for the 17 new volunteers joining us this year and the 94 returning volunteers who serve so faithfully. We are praying for you and the children you serve as you enrich their lives in the knowledge of who God is for them.

If you are not yet involved in reaching the children of your community, may I ask a simple question – why not? The harvest is plentiful, children need the Good News now more than ever, and we have great ways for you to get involved. Elementary schools are a fertile harvest field as children are seeking answers they’re not finding at home or at school. Children are not finding answers at church either because the vast majority don’t attend church as their parents don’t bring them. That means we need to go where they are.

As Christians our responsibility is to find our place in the Great Commission and to be willing to go where the LORD sends us. If you’re not already a volunteer, there is no better time to answer Jesus’ call to “GO” than right now. The best way to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is by sharing the Good News with others.

You can volunteer by completing our online application. You are urgently needed in the harvest, and we have a place for you to serve. Also, sign up for Christmas Party Training in November.

Our Vision Dinner is just a couple of days away, and I’m excited to say that registration is at capacity. We’re expecting the largest turnout we have ever hosted. Would you please pray with us for an amazing evening as we celebrate all the Lord is doing and cast vision for the future? We look forward to seeing many of you there.

God’s grace and peace in Christ,

Brian Considine, Director – CEF Dallas
