May Greetings Friends,

We pray that you are well, experiencing the blessings of God, and the LORD is moving in your life in wonderful ways. Please know you are loved and prayed for.

For CEF Dallas, our prayer request as we wrap up another incredible Good News Club season and prepare to celebrate all the LORD has done this past school year, is how do we change the future for more children? We’re constantly bringing that request to God and I’m excited by how the LORD is moving. Here are just a new few things developing:

  • New connections are being made in the South Dallas (Oak Cliff) area that we are praying will lead to significant ministry in that part of our chapter mission field. A pastors’ gathering is being planned for this summer.
  • New doors are opening in the Hispanic community and we are blessed by the gifts that came in last month to help serve this community. Another training is planned for May 18th.
  • The LORD is bringing us new leaders to help us mobilize more churches and serve the ministry with their wisdom and expertise.
  • More volunteers are stepping up to be trained and we’re looking forward to a record number for our Ice Cream Party Demo on May 10th. Plan to join us by registering below.

All of this is an answer to prayer, and we do need your continued prayers so many more children may hear the Good News and know Jesus as LORD and Savior. That’s how we change the future.

When we reach a child, we never know the impact we will have on their future. A friend of mine, Mark, shared with me this past Sunday a wonderful testimony. Lori’s (Mark’s wife) mother held a Good News Club in her home. Mark testifies to Lori’s influence on his own faith journey. Today, Mark and Lori are grandparents and Mark leads our Life Group and Men’s Bible Study. What would have happened if Lori’s mom had not influenced her daughter’s spiritual journey through a Good News Club? Only the LORD knows.

Mark’s story, and many others like it, is a powerful witness of how the LORD has used Child Evangelism Fellowship to change the future in prior generations. But what about our newest generation, Gen Alpha (born after 2010)?

Two or three generations from now, if the LORD tarries, will such testimonies as Mark’s be told? Through Good News Clubs and Good News Parties thousands of children are being reached, thanks to incredible volunteers and our dedicated team. But how do we change the future for more children?

There are approximately 800,000 pre-school and elementary school-aged children in our chapter region.

Can we reach them all? Shouldn’t we, together, at least try? That’s how you change the future!

Come be inspired on May 30th at our Volunteer Appreciation Lunch and hear testimonies from this past school year. The only requirement to attend is that you want to help us change the future and do More in ’24!

For the children,

Brian Considine, Director – CEF Dallas
