Christmas Greetings!

We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Now, as we rush towards Christmas, we’re praying you and yours experience God’s great joy this Christmas Season. May His joy and peace be with you as we give praise to God for our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

Why did Jesus come?

Many are wondering about that question. Christmas is always the best time of year to reflect on His coming. Scripture does give us the reason Jesus came, so we’re not left wondering, but in wonderment:

Jesus came to give His life as a ransom for many – Mark 10:45

Jesus came to call sinners to repentance – Luke 5:31-32

Jesus came to give eternal life to all who would believe – John 3:16

We are blessed beyond measure to know that Jesus came for us and “for all people” who would receive the “glad tidings” of His gift of salvation. For all who would repent and believe the Good News, Jesus came to give life and life abundantly. That is the promise of Christmas!

Studies find that up to 85% of U.S. citizens celebrate Christmas, but most children (and their parents) don’t know the true meaning of Christmas. Gen Alpha (born after 2010) is the first post-Christian, and the least reached, generation in our nation’s history. Gen Alpha is projected to have a 2% Biblical worldview when they reach adulthood. That raises many questions about the future.

That is why Child Evangelism Fellowship has such an urgent mission, more so than at any time in our 86-year history. That is why CEF Dallas has Christmas Party Clubs scheduled over the next three weeks — but many more are needed. That is why Good News Clubs continue and new ones are starting in January — but many more are needed. That is why we are forming more ministry partnerships to grow our ministry outreach.

And that is why we are asking for your prayers, your participation as an active volunteer in the New Year, and for your year-end financial partnership.

Together, we can do more in ’24 to reach more kids for Christ! Together we can change the future for more children.

Have a blessed Christmas and be sure to share the “glad tidings of great joy” with someone who needs to know!

In Christ for the Children,
