Meet Susan!

Susan Moore is the Ministry Coordinator for CEF Dallas. She assists in launching new Good News clubs and supports and trains current GNC leaders and volunteers. She also coordinates conferences, training and support meetings, and manages the party club ministry at daycares and other locations. And, she is active in helping recruit and train volunteers for Christmas, Easter and summer outreach opportunities!

She’s been part of the CEF Dallas staff since September 2019, but her involvement as a volunteer dates back more than 30 years!

She first got involved with CEF when a friend at church told her about the Teaching Children Effectively Level 1 course, which led her to take the class and start a Bible club for neighborhood children in her home. Four of her children were CYIA trained summer missionaries and  assisted with their church’s involvement with CEF. Susan helped start a GNC at Price Elementary in the Mesquite ISD in 2001 and still volunteers there as the Bible lesson teacher. This year their club is celebrating 25 years!

“Seeing my own children serve as teens and now as adults after attending CYIA  training has been a joy,” Susan told us. “I love working with children and truly enjoy the time I get to spend with them at GNC. I have been blessed to work with the volunteers and get to know each club leader. Visiting our Good News Clubs each school year and seeing how trained volunteers work with and care for the children has been so very satisfying,” she continued. “I feel so honored to be a small part of God’s work.”

It’s truly an honor to have her on the CEF Dallas team! The team is better and stronger thanks to her experience and leadership.
