Meet Brooke!

Brooke McCready is the Office Administrator for CEF Dallas. She assists the CEF Dallas Staff with administrative support and generally keeps things running smoothly! We’ve only had her on our team for the last 10 months, and we already don’t know how we ever lived without her!

But she’s so much more than her title and job description. Brooke has a true passion for sharing the Good News with Children. That’s how she got involved with CEF Dallas.

“A volunteer told me about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with children through CEF and it sparked my interest,” Brooke said. “When I was looking for a volunteer opportunity I reached out to her and asked her how to get started. She told me about the Back the School (BTS) conference and encouraged me to attend. She also introduced me to Susan.

“Susan was encouraging and made me excited about BTS and TCE-1. I was eager to be equipped to volunteer and learn to share! She stressed that CEF will make sure you are equipped and trained and not just thrown into a situation with children,” Brooke continued.

After that first conversation, Brooke registered for BTS. It was a great experience. From there she took an opportunity to meet with Susan and Lori, where her interest in CEF continued to grow. That meeting led her to register for TCE1.

One of Brooke’s favorite aspects of working with CEF Dallas is participating in party clubs.  “It was my first opportunity to use what I had learned through BTS and TCE 1,” Brooke recalled. “I enjoyed it working with the team, and they continued to encourage me even when I knew I had messed up or may not have presented my best.”

The work with Party Clubs sparked excitement that led Brooke to get involved in a GNC. She joined the team at West Dallas Community School GNC. “I Began teaching the children the WORD of GOD,” Brooke shared. “It warms my heart to know that they have something that no one can take from them: They have Truth and Life to draw on as they navigate life.  I have been given the grace to be a part of that process.”
