Warren joined the CEF Dallas Area staff in 2017 after spending 34 years as a municipal recreation department director. When Warren was (literally) called to come work for CEF, he had been working in his church’s school-based Good News Club for more than a dozen years.

After joining the staff Warren completed the 13-week Children’s Ministries Institute at CEF Headquarters, which included certifications in TCE 1, TCE 2, Dynamics of Teacher Training, and the CEF Master Teacher certification.

Warren’s main role has been to share with churches the benefits of partnering with the world’s largest children’s ministry (that’s us — CEF!) to assist them in evangelizing and discipling the children attending their existing ministries. He also connects churches with CEF to train and equip the church body to go into their communities and reach children with the Gospel in schools, apartments, daycares, community centers, parks, or any other safe location. He uses CEF Programs such as Super Seminars, Good News Clubs, and seasonal Good News Parties, which are invaluable tools for local churches. He also assists churches with recruiting and training GNC teams and reserving school locations.

Warren also works with other CEF Dallas staff and volunteers to reach children directly by working at Good News parties and subbing for absent GNC workers. For the last 8 years, Warren has taught at Good News Parties and Clubs attended by more than 1,000 children and has seen several come to faith in Jesus.

Warren has also been the leader of his church’s Good News Club at Price Elementary School for the past 5 years and is an elder at his church, Household of Faith, in Garland. He has been married to Donna for more than 40 years and has two daughters, two sons-in-law, and one grandson.
