ANNOUNCING PROJECT: REACH DALLLAS!

We are excited to announce our new strategic project – Project: Reach Dallas! This announcement was made at our 1st annual Vision Dinner on October 5th at The Hope Center. God moved that evening a with a great turnout and response. We had a set a fundraising goal of $175,000 to fully fund this project and God blessed us with an initial $103,000 in gifts and faith promises that evening. If you were unable to join us that evening, you can participate with your gift now so that more children are reached with the Gospel.

WHAT’S PROJECT: REACH DALLAS?

Project: Reach Dallas is our new 3-year strategic expansion plan to reach 5,000 more children with a specific focus on Dallas Independent School District. There are 70,000+ elementary-aged children in Dallas ISD (141,169 students in grades PK, K-) to be reached for Christ. Dallas ISD is the 2nd largest school district in Texas, largest in North Texas, and currently the most under-reached by CEF Dallas. We want to change that!

WHAT’S THE PLAN?

Project: Reach Dallas is a 3-year plan that takes shape through three focus areas:

1. More Good News Clubs and Good News Parties through a new sub-chapter to focus on this community. The sub-chapter will be supported by a new Area Coordinator and team assigned to connect with churches in Dallas ISD and to mobilize volunteers. Our goal is to establish 30 Good News Clubs and 150 Good News Parties so that 5,000 children learn about the Good News of Jesus for them.

2. More Youth Trained: through our Christian Youth in Action training program youth (14-21) are effectively equipped to evangelize children. Christian Youth in Action, or CYIA, is a weeklong training camp which can be conducted at either a Christian camp or church facility. CYIA then are provided the opportunity to apply their teaching in a Summer Party Clubs or 5 Day Clubs. We want to provide scholarships so that 25 youth can be trained to reach children for Christ and place a Youth Coordinator in the field.

3. More Awareness: through a targeted awareness campaign of Media, Mailings & Meetings we seek to inform churches and the 420,000 households in Dallas ISF about the opportunities available to reach their community for Christ.

WHAT’S NEEDED?

We need to grow our team of staff and volunteers to achieve our goal of 5,000 children reached with the Good News in Dallas ISD. We need investors who desire to change the future for many more children. Here are some ideas of how you can partner with us:

• $50/month or $600 supports 3 Good News Parties, so that 60 children hear the Gospel.

•$100/month or $1,200 supports 7 children in a Good News Club, so that they can be discipled for Christian living.

•$250/month or $3,000 supports the ongoing work of 1 Good News Club, so that 25 children can participate through the school year.

•$500/month or $6,000 sponsors 6 youth for CYIA, so that they will be equipped as the next generation of child evangelists.

WHEN DOES PROJECT: REACH DALLAS LAUNCH?

Presently, we are in the development phase of Project: Reach Dallas and while we would love to launch the project fully funded, we’re not waiting! In November we are presenting Project: Reach Dallas at a Pastors Lunch hosted by the Southern Bible Institute in Oakcliff and in December at an Hispanic Pastors gathering. We are in the process of searching for an Area Coordinator and in the process of onboarding a Youth Coordinator. Our official launch date is January 1st, 2025. You can be a part of launching Project: Reach Dallas through your prayers and a gift of any size.
