So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

— 2 Corinthians 5:6-8

Hello Team CEF –

It is with great sadness and joy to let everyone know that our Leader, Director, and Friend Brian Considine has stepped into Eternity with Jesus on Monday morning, March 31. As many of you know, Brian has been battling a rare cancer. What a courageous battle with surgeries, medical treatments, and, most importantly, prayer. What was supposed to overcome him in 5 years, the Lord stretched to almost 18 years. In the last 5 years as our Director, Brian’s treatments didn’t seem to slow him down until these last few weeks. Brian and his wife Debbie are such great people. Please be praying for Debbie and their children Alexandria (Hunter, husband) and Michael. Details about a celebration of life service are below. The Joy comes from knowing Brian has no more pain and suffering, as he now has seen the face of Jesus!! 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 includes the promise that being “absent from the body, is to be at home with the Lord” Amen!!!

As our Director for the Dallas CEF chapter, we have seen the Lord work in amazing ways through Brian’s leadership. But more importantly, as Brian would say, it’s because of God’s grace showing out through our tremendous staff, incredible volunteers, and our dynamic financial partners. Your Faithfulness in all your efforts has reached so many children with the saving message of Jesus!! Brian would tell us to keep going, keep working hard as the hands and feet of Jesus to reach the Children of North Texas!! Multiply in ’25. All for the Children with all praise to King Jesus!
