And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written,

“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

— Romans 10:15

Greetings & Blessings, Beautiful Feet people!

We hope you have managed to stay warm and healthy through this winter. Thankfully, it will be spring again in less than three weeks. With spring’s arrival (March 20), and Resurrection Sunday following on April 20, a lot of “Beautiful Feet” work is happening or being planned.

In the Bible, “beautiful feet” is a metaphor for those who bring the Gospel message of peace, hope, and eternal life to others. The Bible suggests that feet symbolize humility and honor to others based on the story of Jesus washing His disciples’ feet. God is not concerned about the outward beauty of feet, but what they do, and if they carry the Good News of God and God’s saving message, then in the eyes of God, they are beautiful.

If you have been around CEF Dallas, you know that spring means Easter Good News Parties! We are anticipating that more than 1,000 children will hear the Good News in the next month and learn about God’s promise of peace, joy, hope and eternal life. There’s still time to register for our Easter Party Demo on March 8. Being involved in a Good News Party, as a teacher or helper, you are indeed a rare and precious Saint with “Beautiful Feet.” The Good News is always to be brought in a posture of love and humility.

Looking ahead, alongside your hosting and teaching Good News Parties this summer and Christmas as well, we will have newly trained Timothys prepared to teach and help. Our CYIA Training is being planned for the beginning of June. More details to follow, but if you know a teen looking to have a meaningful experience this summer, please have them visit our CYIA page found here: Christian Youth in Action – CEF Dallas

Paul asks the question, “How can they go unless they are sent?” Your financial partnership helps us equip others to obtain the status of “Beautiful Feet.” Let’s admit it, most feet aren’t that beautiful, but if the LORD says they are based on our Gospel work, who are we to argue? Bring the Good News!

Here’s one way to become a sender: Ask your church or life group to sponsor a young person to register for Christian Youth in Action this summer. There might even be 3 or 4 or more in your home church who want to be trained as child evangelists. More details are coming soon but for now, have interested teens pre-register at Christian Youth in Action – CEF Dallas

And, let’s multiply in 2025 together!

In Christ for the children!

Brian Considine, Director – CEF Dallas

PS. I want to thank our teammate Warren Bird for writing the Director’s message last month. That seems to be the future direction as my cancer is winning the battle this time. We are making plans for when I can no longer function as the  Executive Director. That could be weeks or months, but we hope and pray it will be years. God has raised up excellent members for our steering committee and a new highly qualified Chairman. You already know our tremendously skilled staff who carry forward our vital mission to reach every child. CEF Dallas is in excellent hands, including your part that makes our ministry as God-glorifying as it is.

My wife and I are grateful for your healing thoughts and prayers.
