Sessions will be presented by CEF trained and certified teachers to better equip Good News Club and other children’s ministry workers to evangelize and disciple children.  \nGuest Speakers: Amy Davison\, Mama Bear Apologetics and Emily Steele from ICR \nTopic: Apologetics \nAmy Davison will be our guest speaker this year. Amy graduated with a Master’s in Apologetics from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2018. Since joining Mama Bear\, Amy has taken an active role in writing and also serving as co-host on the Mama Bear podcast. Amy and her husband\, Mike\, are both Air Force veterans and have a heart for helping parents and kids love God with their minds. Together\, they are raising three boys and a little girl in Texas. When Amy isn’t doing Mama Bear things\, she enjoys staying up late reading and visiting antique stores. Amy also has a general weakness for comedies and Earl Grey tea. \nEmily Steele joined ICR in 2023 coming from a career as a teacher of future teachers. She graduated in 2013 from Bob Jones University with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences with a minor in Dramatic Arts. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Management and Leadership from Liberty University and graduated with a Master of Science in Family & Consumer Sciences Education from Texas Tech University in 2017. She taught Education and Training at a public high school for 7 years and also sponsored the Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) chapter at her school where she held various leadership roles in her area and in the state.
